The story begins with a performance of the Wayang Cenk Blonk puppet show, led by Mr. I Wayan Nardayana as the puppeteer (dalang) along with his team. Suddenly, rain starts to fall, but the show continues. Despite the rain, the audience remains enthusiastic, laughing heartily and feeling inspired by the messages delivered during the performance. The next day, he is at home carrying out his daily activities like any elder would. He also takes time to meditate. Now, he has become a mangku (a Hindu priest). Because of this new role, after finishing his activities at home, he goes to the temple. At the temple, he serves God Almighty like any other priest, doing tasks such as cleaning the temple and more. Sometimes, he offers reflections and spiritual insights to visitors who come to pray at the temple. After temple duties, he also continues to engage in his hobbies, including painting wayang puppets, coloring them, and other creative activities. Mr. Wayan has made many sacrifices, from his time to the artistic works he has created. However, he believes that all of it is merely entrusted to him—nothing can be taken to the grave. From this belief, he often shares reflections on the cycle of life’s laws with the community. Because of his life choices, he has undergone many personal transformations. This is evident from how frequently he now worships God Almighty, and from his notable achievements that have captured public attention—such as having a temple and a very tall shrine of his own.
